kitten to love, kitten to love

On the way into the house after church today, Chris and I were adopted by a beautiful mostly white calico kitten. As parents of two senior-ish kitties already, we don't have a way to keep her permanently. Does anyone have space in their lives for a new kitten? Stray, pretty young, very friendly, with beautiful Egyptian eyes.

Aww, she sounds beautiful, but Pippa is already faintly jealous over baby; I don't know how she'd react to another calico invading her turf.

Sophie's in her Bears' playsuit "watching" the game with Jason. We'll see how long that lasts. And I'm sorting through a closet-full of those boxes where you throw everything throughout the year (Christmas cards, ticket stubs, random junk) with some thought towards organizing the keep-worthy items into scrapbooks.

I could never do scrapbooking. Too much of a compulsive purger (ask Chris, who claims that he is afraid to leave anything important anywhere I might find it because I just automatically throw paper away).

I'm such an archivist: my perfect house would have like a museum display room full of perfectly labeled detritus from my past. I don't know if that's because I'm egomaniacal or sentimental. Or just a packrat.
